Senior Supervisor - 2nd Shift (Logistics)

Location: Onsite in Byhalia, Mississippi, United States. Second shift: 4:00 PM–12:30 AM or 3:30 PM–12:00 AM.

What you will do

• Lead daily inbound, outbound, inventory control, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and value-added service operations.
• Direct and coach supervisors, team leads, and hourly associates while reinforcing accountability and performance expectations.
• Monitor safety, service, productivity, quality, cost, inventory, and attendance metrics, taking corrective action when needed.
• Coordinate shift start-up meetings, operational reviews, handoffs, staffing, workload planning, and urgent issue response.
• Drive safety programs, compliance, continuous improvement, waste reduction, throughput improvement, and overtime control.
• Develop frontline leadership through cross-training, succession planning, talent reviews, and development plans.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in distribution, fulfillment, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or related operations.
• 3+ years leading employees in a high-volume operation with responsibility for staffing, performance, safety, and results.
• Ability to work the onsite second shift schedule.
• Experience leading through frontline supervisors or team leads and coordinating multiple operational functions.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems, labor or productivity reporting, inventory controls, and office applications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, operations management, or a related field.
• Experience in multi-shift, high-volume, automated, or regulated distribution environments.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or structured problem-solving methods.
• Experience with change initiatives, start-ups, expansions, system implementations, or process redesign.
• Experience with a WMS, preferably Blue Yonder or Manhattan.
