Storage Systems Administrator (NetApp/AWS)

Location: USA - Colorado Springs - Elkton; hybrid work

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer NetApp ONTAP and Pure Storage arrays across global sites, including provisioning, capacity planning, performance tuning, and firmware or operating system upgrades.
• Manage Druva backup jobs, retention policies, restore operations, and recovery point and recovery time objective validation.
• Support AWS storage services including FSx ONTAP, FSx Lustre, S3, and EBS for multi-region EDA infrastructure.
• Maintain SnapMirror replication between on-premises and cloud storage environments.
• Participate in storage migrations, hardware refreshes, and datacenter or colocation transitions.
• Collaborate with systems, network, security, and cloud infrastructure teams on cross-functional issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in storage architecture, deployment, administration, monitoring, tuning, security hardening, troubleshooting, and production operations.
• Hands-on experience with NetApp and Pure Storage arrays.
• Hands-on experience with GNU/Linux and Microsoft Windows server operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel storage protocols.
• Working knowledge of AWS S3, EBS, and FSx storage services.

Nice to have

• AWS Architect certification.
• Experience with VMware, KVM, or other virtualization and containerization technologies.
• Experience deploying infrastructure in AWS.
• NetApp or Pure Storage certifications.
