Systems Administrator - WSMT-Server (Intermediate & Associate)

Location: Fort Huachuca, Arizona, United States; onsite

Salary: $65,000–$74,000 per year

What you will do

• Maintain multi-user computer systems and coordinate activities with network engineers.
• Monitor CPU usage, disk utilization, response times, and other system resources to optimize performance.
• Manage user and administrator accounts, system-wide software, storage resources, and technical documentation.
• Perform security administration, system hardening, patching, backup, and recovery activities.
• Install and coordinate new hardware and software solutions, evaluate vendor products, and recommend purchases.
• Resolve user issues, gather requirements, and implement resource allocation and configuration management standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience requirements: 0 years with a bachelor’s degree, 2 years with an associate degree, or 4 years without a degree.
• Working knowledge of PowerShell for routine tasks, automation, and reporting.
• Familiarity with DoD STIGs, system hardening, security compliance, WSUS, SCCM/MECM, or similar patching tools.
• CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft AZ-900, CompTIA Server+, or Cloud+ certification required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required before starting; the role is onsite at Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
