DC Ops Technician III - US

Location: Richardson, Texas, United States; onsite data center work, Friday through Monday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Monitor and prioritize internal tickets while providing customer support.
• Troubleshoot operating systems, storage, servers, hardware, and RAID configurations.
• Support servers running Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Server, Ubuntu Linux, and VMware ESX Server.
• Perform operating system installations, network IP setup, firmware updates, and basic administration.
• Install and test copper and fiber cabling, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and security appliances.
• Install storage hardware and complete customer maintenance requests, including hardware modifications, cabinet mounting, and cabling.

Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience working in a data center environment.
• Ability to build, repair, and upgrade hardware components.
• Strong understanding of storage RAID configurations and requirements.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds overhead.
