Product Manager (Advanced Chemicals)

Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States; onsite with up to 20% domestic and international travel

What you will do

• Own gross margin, volume, revenue, pricing, and portfolio profitability for assigned product lines.
• Execute commercial plans, conduct portfolio health reviews, and manage product rationalization, phase-outs, and Make-to-Order transitions.
• Manage in-life product performance, lifecycle changes, customer notifications, packaging updates, raw material substitutions, and quality improvements.
• Coordinate new product development through Stage-Gate phases, commercial launches, supply readiness, launch collateral, and post-launch reviews.
• Provide product forecasts and coordinate demand planning, capacity, supply constraints, customer communications, and quality-response activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, R&D, Procurement, and regulatory stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in product management, applications engineering, or technical marketing in chemicals or adjacent industries.
• Deep knowledge of specialty, advanced, or industrial chemicals markets and B2B customer dynamics.
• Experience with product P&L ownership, pricing strategy, margin management, financial analysis, and business-case development.
• Ability to interpret formulation data and lab reports and work credibly with R&D and customer engineers.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, and analytics tools such as Salesforce, SAP, and Power BI.
