Product Manager (Catalysis)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $163,200–$306,000 annually, depending on US geographic pay tier.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end catalysis product strategy, vision, roadmap, and CHIPS Act deliverables.
• Translate customer, application science, market, and program requirements into prioritized product specifications and evidence packages.
• Define datasets, model requirements, chemical coverage, benchmarking, and the roadmap from property prediction to reaction-level modelling.
• Quantify customer value through improvements in yield, selectivity, catalyst life, energy efficiency, and emissions.
• Contribute to segmentation, packaging, pricing, commercialization, and recurring-revenue strategies across catalysis markets.
• Build strategic relationships with fabs, equipment OEMs, materials suppliers, refiners, chemical producers, catalyst manufacturers, laboratories, and validation partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience owning technically deep products sold to external customers.
• Strong grounding in materials science, catalysis, chemistry, or chemical engineering, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience shipping AI/ML-driven scientific or engineering software to paying or contracted users.
• Experience with product requirements, commercial strategy, packaging, pricing, customer segmentation, and ambiguous product discovery.
• Ability to work with computational scientists, experimental validation partners, industrial customers, and equipment OEMs.
• Experience with catalysis markets is valuable, including refining, petrochemicals, emissions control, energy-transition catalysis, or semiconductor process chemistry.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with density functional theory, molecular dynamics, microkinetic modelling, machine-learned interatomic potentials, and experimental or first-principles model evaluation.
• Experience with homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis, semiconductor process chemistry, or electronic materials.
• Experience with product-led growth, self-serve adoption, land-and-expand models, multi-tenant SaaS, API governance, security, and compliance.
• Advanced degree in computational chemistry, chemical engineering, catalysis, materials science, or a related field.
