Product Manager (Fire Suppression)

Location: North Aurora, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days per week onsite; 15–25% travel, including international travel as needed.

Salary: $82,300–$152,800 annualized base pay, with potential eligibility for annual incentive and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Own the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and post-launch evaluation for fire suppression product portfolios.
• Lead portfolio strategy, product line optimization, channel expansion, product maintenance, obsolescence, pricing, lead-time, and inventory initiatives.
• Develop and execute growth plans aligned with business-unit objectives and profit-margin expectations.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, supply, and operations teams on channel strategy, demand planning, and financial targets.
• Optimize product costs and customer pricing to maximize revenue and margin.
• Act as a subject matter expert for assigned product families and support training materials, sales teams, channel partners, end users, and specifying engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in product lifecycle management of engineered products or projects.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis, product and market analytics, customer insight interpretation, and commercial decision-making.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, relationship-building, presentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple time-sensitive projects, new product introductions, and program launches.
