Robot Operator / Service Technician (Robotics)

Location: Florida, USA; remote work with travel to solar field sites up to 60% of the time

Salary: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience

Develops AI-, computer vision-, robotics-, and software-based solutions for monitoring, optimizing, and maintaining utility-scale solar power plants.

What you will do

• Remotely operate and monitor robotic systems deployed at solar sites.
• Operate and maintain robots on-site while following customer and company safety standards.
• Troubleshoot robotic performance issues and assist with routine maintenance and basic repairs.
• Support robot deployments through setup, testing, and operational-readiness checks.
• Record mission performance, travel logs, anomalies, and maintenance actions.
• Communicate robot status, site conditions, and technical findings to operations and engineering teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Clear communication, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to travel to solar field sites and work in varied outdoor conditions, including extended periods outdoors.

Nice to have

• Technical education or certification.
• Experience operating or maintaining robotics systems.
• Knowledge of solar energy systems.
