Field Deployment Technician (Industrial Robotics)

Location: United States; hybrid workplace with remote hiring, frequent travel to customer sites worldwide, and regular travel to the headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.

What you will do

• Commission, configure, and troubleshoot ANYmal robots in varied industrial environments.
• Train robot operators and conduct safety briefings.
• Expand autonomous inspection missions by adding routes and points of interest.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders, Field Engineers, and Customer Success Engineers to achieve project goals.
• Travel frequently to customer sites, sometimes on short notice, and represent hirify.global at events and exhibitions.
• Collect deployment feedback to support product and process improvements.

Requirements

• Advanced technical degree, vocational certification, or equivalent practical experience in mechanics, electronics, mechatronics, or robotics.
• Fluent English and the ability to communicate with diverse technical and cultural audiences.
• Availability for frequent travel of up to 80%, including industrial and remote environments.
• Proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach to field work.
• Class B driver's license.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying robots or other automation systems.
• Linux and command-line experience.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure.
