Manufacturing Technician B

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States; onsite at the Salt Lake City facility. Schedule: 9/80, second shift. Security clearance eligibility may require U.S. citizenship.

What you will do

• Set up basic manufacturing apparatus and assemble products according to documented methods, procedures, standards, and operation sequences.
• Document assembly data and results and provide initial documentation for failed products.
• Work toward operational targets with minimal supervision, both independently and as part of a team.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects addressing waste, product quality, cost, and schedule.
• Work overtime when required and perform hands-on duties involving standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least four years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with zero to two years of related experience.
• Ability to follow oral and written English instructions, engineering drawings, and blueprints.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 32 pounds personally and participate in occasional team lifts of up to 75 pounds.
• Must work onsite at the Salt Lake City, Utah facility.
• Security clearance eligibility may require U.S. citizenship; background checks and pre-employment substance abuse testing may apply.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Microsoft tools and personal computing devices.
• Experience with electronics manufacturing processes, soldering, hand tools, and ESD practices.
• IPC 610/620 certification.
