Electronic Service Technician - Subsite Electronics

Location: On-site in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, five days per week

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

Subsite Electronics, a division of The Toro Company, develops electronic products for underground construction, including HDD guidance equipment, utility locators, utility inspection systems, and machine controls.

What you will do

• Test, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, disassemble, and assemble electronic products.
• Use soldering tools, hand tools, oscilloscopes, volt-ohm meters, and frequency counters to analyze circuits and correct faults.
• Review engineering information, schematics, bills of materials, repair history, engineering change orders, and quality reports.
• Source parts and prepare repair cost estimates covering components, assemblies, and labor.
• Help write test and repair procedures and document completed repairs.
• Collaborate with engineers, operators, dealers, product support, and manufacturing while meeting quality and safety expectations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in electronic technology, electronic engineering technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Electronic Service Technician I: 1–3 years of experience in an electrical or mechanical industry; Electronic Service Technician II: 3+ years.
• Experience building, testing, and troubleshooting electronic assemblies and fixtures.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and related engineering information.
• Ability to independently move and reposition 50–70 lb. equipment; willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
