Engineering Technician III (T3)

What you will do

• Design, test, check out, fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and assemble electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level electrical and mechanical problems.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, and testing on hirify.global platforms.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and technical documentation.
• Compile logbooks and test procedures, and assist with departmental procedures and quality notifications.
• Perform rework and help identify remedies for equipment malfunctions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in analytical processes and procedures relevant to assigned technical tasks.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work in environments with potentially significant noise.
• Ability to work in clean-room environments and use required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to follow safety, security, manufacturing, and engineering procedures.
