Requirements

  • Professional experience developing embedded firmware for production or near-production hardware.
  • Strong C/C++ skills with knowledge of memory management, concurrency, and real-time constraints.
  • Experience with device drivers, microcontrollers such as ARM Cortex-M or RISC-V, and bare-metal development.
  • Exposure to an RTOS or embedded Linux distribution such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, Yocto, or Buildroot.
  • Experience with low-level debugging tools, electrical schematics, real-time systems, Git workflows, code reviews, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical discussions, documentation, and code reviews.

Nice to have

  • Wireless communication, Bluetooth/BLE, Nordic Semiconductor devices, Android debugging, secure boot, or secure firmware updates.
  • Low-power or battery-powered device development, manufacturing tests, calibration, or rugged field hardware.
  • Python scripting, embedded audio/video, cloud integration via MQTT, HTTP, or gRPC, and Java or JVM-based tooling.

Culture & Benefits

  • Flexible hybrid work schedule in Atlanta.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
