Firmware Engineer (C/C++/Python)

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA; work is performed in a traditional office, laboratory setting, and/or light-manufacturing facility.

Annual base salary: $78,100–$116,200, with potential additional bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop firmware in C and C++ for laboratory instruments.
• Develop Python software supporting MSD instruments.
• Collaborate with engineering and scientific teams.
• Contribute to laboratory systems delivering solutions for biodefense, clinical, and life sciences applications.
• Work with equipment in office, laboratory, and light-manufacturing environments.

Requirements

• Experience developing C and C++ firmware.
• Experience developing Python software.
• Ability to communicate and exchange information effectively.
• Ability to utilize the equipment necessary to perform the job.
• Ability to work in the Gaithersburg, Maryland office, laboratory, and/or light-manufacturing environment.
