Medical Assistant, Travel Position (Healthcare)

Location: Buckeye, Arizona 85326, with travel between Goodyear and Buckeye offices

Salary: $19–$24.50 per hour, based on position and experience, plus reimbursement for travel between offices.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on patient care, including rooming patients, taking vital signs, administering injections, performing urine testing, and supporting anemia and iron management.
• Coordinate clinical procedures and diagnostic testing, including specimen collection, blood pressure monitoring, scheduling, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR and communicate patient updates to providers.
• Manage scheduling, recalls, referrals, and care coordination.
• Support medical records management, inventory control, HIPAA compliance, and operations across multiple offices.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification such as CMA or RMA, or graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 1–2 years of clinical medical assistant experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with EMR systems and common clinical and office equipment.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, multitasking ability, and a patient-first approach.
• Ability to travel between the Goodyear and Buckeye offices.
