What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare and stock exam rooms, and support a positive patient experience.
• Review medical information, collect updated health data, take vital signs, draw blood, administer injections, apply bandages, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations under provider direction and written orders.
• Perform front-desk duties including scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, documentation, referrals, and specialist coordination.
• Process test results, communicate results to patients, conduct outreach, and support patient engagement.
• Maintain accurate records, clinical supplies, and treatment equipment while collaborating on individual care plans.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and is required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
