What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare exam rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review medical information, gather updated health data, take vital signs, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations under provider direction and written orders.
• Support patient care planning, identify care gaps, process test results, and conduct patient outreach.
• Perform front-desk and care coordination duties, including scheduling, check-in and check-out, referrals, medical record requests, and specialist visits.
• Document accurate patient information in medical records and coordinate with contracted laboratories.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Must work onsite in Bel Air, Maryland.
