Salesforce Technical Architect, AI and Agentforce

Location: Remote in Canada, limited to Alberta, British Columbia, or Ontario. Travel up to 25% may be required, and a valid passport must be maintained while employed.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end technical solution design for Agentforce agents, including topics, instructions, actions, automation, deployment methods, and supporting data structures.
• Design scalable and secure Salesforce Data 360 architectures covering data objects, identity resolution, ingestion, and real-time activation.
• Define agent grounding strategies using unstructured data objects, retrievers, search indexes, and related evaluation and guardrail approaches.
• Design integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems, including REST API integration patterns.
• Guide developers through design reviews, code reviews, mentoring, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Agentforce standards.
• Collaborate with customers and delivery teams from solution design through development, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of application and software development experience and 4+ years of Salesforce development or technical architecture experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Apex and JavaScript, with working knowledge of modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with Salesforce Flows, Lightning Web Components or Visualforce, Agentforce agents, workflows, automations, and Data 360.
• Experience designing Salesforce integrations through REST APIs, using source control and pull request strategies, and applying CI/CD and DevOps principles.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to developers, customers, and executives.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic AI, generative AI, Agentforce Agent Script, RAG, retrievers, search indexes, unstructured Data 360 objects, and identity resolution.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Agentforce Specialist, Data Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, or System Architect.
• Consulting or professional services experience and expertise across additional Salesforce Clouds.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, AWS Lambda, Amazon Connect, telephony platforms, or Claude Code.
