Senior Staff Product Marketing Engineer (Cloud Workflows)

Location: Remote within the United States; compensation is structured across US Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 markets.

Salary: $182,000–$300,000 annually, plus equity; ranges may include commission compensation where applicable.

What you will do

• Build and scale hirify.global's competitive intelligence program, including benchmarking, win-loss analysis, positioning, thought leadership, and sales support.
• Install, configure, and evaluate competing products, adjacent technologies, architectures, developer experiences, operational models, pricing, and packaging.
• Design reproducible technical benchmarks and evaluations covering performance, reliability, cost, and operational tradeoffs.
• Turn evidence into battlecards, comparison guides, objection handling, demos, briefings, launch input, and public technical content.
• Partner with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Enablement to resolve technical questions and improve field adoption.
• Publish monthly updates, lead quarterly executive reviews, and track recommendations through product and go-to-market decisions.

Requirements

• Experience building or substantially improving a competitive intelligence program for a technical product, including win-loss analysis, technical evaluation, executive communication, product recommendations, and field adoption.
• Hands-on knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms, application architecture, and production operational tradeoffs.
• Ability to deploy unfamiliar technologies, read source code and technical documentation, build test harnesses, and troubleshoot results.
• Proficiency in one or more of Go, Java, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP, plus containers, cloud environments, and automation tools.
• Experience with performance or reliability testing, including latency, throughput, CPU, memory, storage, networking, failure modes, and cost.
• Strong technical writing, executive communication, independent execution, and evidence-based judgment.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow engines, durable execution, event-driven systems, cloud workflow services, job systems, or AI agent frameworks.
• Published technical benchmarks, comparison content, white papers, or open-source reference projects.
• Experience writing substantial technical white papers and presenting at major conferences.
