Chemical Technician I (Weekday Days)

Location: On-site in Coralville, Iowa, United States. Weekdays, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; the schedule may change based on business needs with sufficient notice.

What you will do

• Produce chemical products used in DNA/RNA synthesis according to production schedules.
• Perform in-process testing to ensure products meet end-user specifications.
• Troubleshoot and correct non-conforming products.
• Participate in the hazardous material spill response team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain required certifications, including HAZWOPER 24-hour Technician Certification and RCRA awareness certification.
• Ability to pass medical clearance, testing, and fitting requirements for the IDT Respiratory Program is a condition of employment.
• Ability to occasionally lift, move, or carry up to 50 pounds.
