Onsite Environmental Technician I-4

What you will do

• Collect, identify, package, and label hazardous and non-hazardous waste throughout customer facilities.
• Perform chemical bulking, consolidation, waste stream sampling, and profiling.
• Participate in spill response activities at customer sites.
• Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and safely load and unload waste-hauling vehicles.
• Complete administrative duties and other assigned tasks at the client site.

Requirements

• Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER training upon hire.
• Ability to use heavy and light equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Skill with hand tools, shop tools, and instruments.
• Accuracy, thoroughness, attention to detail, prioritization, and ability to manage diverse responsibilities.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for some positions.
