Senior Laboratory Technician (TiO2)

Salary: $29.40–$45.94 per hour; annual bonus target: 4%

What you will do

• Safely perform laboratory experiments involving pumping, weighing, mixing, and heating hazardous chemicals.
• Assemble, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory-scale equipment for solids, liquids, and slurries.
• Support process improvement and new process and product development related to TiO2 manufacturing.
• Prepare samples and coordinate testing with internal and external laboratories.
• Collect, organize, and maintain accurate experimental data and observations for project communication.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of relevant experience in a chemical laboratory.
• Hands-on chemistry or R&D laboratory experience with safe chemical handling.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft applications, and data capture and documentation systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong ownership of assigned tasks.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds and move containers using correct ergonomic methods.

Nice to have

• Experience handling corrosive chemicals safely.
• Experience with filtration, pH control, titrations, and electrode-based measurements.
• Mechanical skills and the ability to prioritize work in a multitasking environment.
