Health Information Technology Specialist West (EHR)

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States; overnight travel is required.

Base salary: $125,000–$135,000 annually.

What you will do

• Identify gaps and barriers in EHR systems across priority integrated delivery networks and health systems.
• Analyze workflow barriers and provide scalable solutions that improve patient care, access, treatment processes, and patient identification.
• Conduct workflow assessments across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings.
• Develop and implement comprehensive customer-specific plans for priority institutions.
• Share EHR insights to support population health and optimize care delivery.
• Act as a Health IT subject matter expert while collaborating with account management, medical, clinical, informatics, quality, population health, and IT stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 4 years of experience designing, building, or testing EHR software, preferably including Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or McKesson.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare, health information technology, software build, and optimization techniques.
• Ability to discover issues, prioritize them, and solve problems through resolution.
• Strong presentation, oral communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel overnight consistently.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Clinical IT, Pharmacy IT, or Nursing Informatics experience.
• Pharmaceutical or life sciences Health IT Specialist experience.
• B2B or software sales experience.
