Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing

Location: Laredo, Texas, United States; regular face-to-face attendance on campus and in the workplace is required.

What you will do

• Teach assigned nursing courses.
• Supervise student clinical experiences and evaluate progress in coursework and clinical practice.
• Complete administrative responsibilities for assigned courses.
• Advise students throughout their programs of study.
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum as appropriate.
• Participate in college and university committees and provide service to the community and nursing profession.

Requirements

• Earned master's degree in nursing.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current unrestricted and unencumbered Texas registered nursing license required.
• Advanced practice nurses must hold the certifications required for their specialty.
• All applicants must complete a criminal history investigation and credential verification.

Nice to have

• Earned doctorate in nursing from an accredited university.
• ABD candidates may be considered.
• At least one year of higher-education teaching experience.
