What you will do

• Teach courses that prepare future educators and advance high-quality early childhood practice.
• Support preservice teachers through coursework, mentorship, field-based supervision, and advising.
• Use experiential learning and responsive, engaging instructional practices.
• Build and nurture partnerships with schools, families, and communities.
• Contribute to department, college, and university service and program development.

Requirements

• Earned master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction or a closely related field.
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in a specific field.
• Strong record of active teaching excellence.
• Familiarity with educator certification standards.
• Experience teaching, supervising, and advising students.
• Experience building and nurturing school-university partnerships.

Nice to have

• Doctoral or terminal degree in Curriculum & Instruction or a closely related field.
• Three or more years of teaching experience in early childhood classrooms from pre-kindergarten through sixth grade.
• Undergraduate teaching experience and active involvement in professional organizations.
• Experience with instructional technology and online course development.
