Accountant (Life Sciences)

Location: Onsite in Burlington, Massachusetts, 4 days per week; candidates must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without restriction

Salary: $96,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly consolidated results, and financial analyses.
• Provide reporting that helps senior management understand business drivers and unusual transactions.
• Support annual audits, quarterly reviews, external auditors, and finance stakeholders while managing timelines and deliverables.
• Standardize recurring finance processes, data collection, controls, and best practices across the Global Finance Team.
• Support financial reporting footnotes, cross-functional projects, and continuous improvement of finance systems and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with 3+ years of professional experience, or a master’s degree with 1+ years of experience; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Professional finance experience, preferably in life sciences, manufacturing, or public accounting.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, SEC accounting and reporting rules, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Ability to analyze and explain financial results, solve problems, communicate clearly, and manage multiple deadlines.
• Full-time authorization to work in the United States for any employer without restriction is required.
• Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• CPA or CA designation.
• Public company experience.
• ERP experience; OneStream experience is a plus.
