Senior Accountant (Life Sciences)

Location: Onsite in Burlington, MA, 4 days/week (United States)

Salary: $115,000.00 – $135,000.00 (base, United States)

What you will do

• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly consolidated results with insightful analysis for senior management.
• Participate in annual audits and quarterly reviews, managing timelines and deliverables with external auditors.
• Standardize and streamline recurring finance processes and identify technology-driven efficiencies.
• Maintain processes, procedures and controls in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley, U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Support footnote disclosures for financial reporting and contribute to cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 5+ years of professional experience (or master's degree with 3+ years, or equivalent).
• Previous experience in finance, preferably in life sciences, manufacturing, or public accounting.
• Technical working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls and SEC accounting/reporting rules.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without restriction; visa sponsorship will not be provided.
• Strong communication, presentation and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Nice to have

• CPA or CA designation.
• Public company experience.
• Oracle Cloud or NetSuite experience; OneStream experience is a plus.
