Corporate Accounting Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco or New York; hybrid work with in-person attendance 3+ days per week

Salary: $170,000–$210,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own general ledger journal entries, account reconciliations, recurring close areas, and monthly financial statement preparation.
• Lead month-end and year-end close, manage the close calendar, and coordinate with FP&A, Data, and cross-functional partners.
• Prepare and review financial statements and flux analysis for accounting and finance leadership.
• Strengthen internal controls, coordinate with external auditors, and prepare audit deliverables, technical accounting memos, and supporting schedules.
• Administer the accounting systems stack, including NetSuite and spend management tools, while automating manual close processes.
• Partner with FP&A, Legal, and Procurement on the accounting implications of new entities, contracts, and programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in corporate accounting, general ledger, and close management.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, debt, and leases.
• Hands-on experience with account reconciliations, monthly financial statements, and direct ownership of the close calendar.
• Public company or audit-ready private company experience, with Big Four or industry audit exposure.
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP and a modern spend management platform.
• Based in San Francisco or New York and able to work in person at least 3 days per week.

• CPA certification or exposure to SOX and SOX-readiness controls.
