Internship - Semiconductor Maintenance Tech

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina, United States; onsite work in cleanroom or restricted-access areas

What you will do

• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including fixturing, calibration, and system walkdowns.
• Help develop and update manufacturing process records and document maintenance activities.
• Perform equipment startups and validations under supervision in accordance with semiconductor manufacturing standards.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve equipment problems.
• Follow strict safety and contamination-control procedures in cleanroom and restricted-access areas.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in mechatronics, robotics, engineering technology, or a related technical field.
• Mechanical proficiency with the ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
• Basic knowledge of AC/DC circuits and electrical fundamentals.
• Intermediate PC skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety and cleanroom protocols and apply classroom learning through coursework, projects, laboratory work, research, or related experience.
• Availability for the full internship period.
