Product Manager (Contracting/Action Processing)

Location: Hybrid role in Santa Barbara, California or Seattle, Washington, United States

Salary: $104,500–$123,500 per year, plus a 5% variable annual bonus and potential RSU grant.

What you will do

• Own feature development for Action Processing and Contracting initiatives, including terms, commission behavior, lists, audience rules, and contract workflows.
• Define success metrics and OKRs, ship features, and track adoption, quality, rework reduction, and business impact.
• Write and maintain Markdown requirements, specifications, acceptance criteria, and lightweight PRDs adjacent to the GitHub repository.
• Map system behavior, data flows, edge cases, and cross-squad dependencies while partnering with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and Technical Services.
• Use AI tools and agents to create specifications, prototypes, scripts, analyses, internal tools, and product experiments.
• Shape the roadmap, prioritize releases, support go-to-market activities, and make recommendations with clear tradeoffs.

Requirements

• Several years of product management experience, typically 3 or more years, with independent ownership of technical or systems-heavy features and delivered outcomes.
• Engineering or computer science background through a degree or hands-on engineering experience.
• Experience working with complex, lightly documented systems and partnering fluently with engineers.
• Portfolio of real AI-assisted builds, such as specifications, prototypes, scripts, internal tools, experiments, or personal projects.
• Strong written communication and ability to produce fast, engineering-ready Markdown requirements and source-data analyses.
• Experience with prioritization, customer or field-team triage, business economics, monetization, and decision-making under incomplete information.

Nice to have

• Experience with partner platforms, affiliate or commerce infrastructure, marketplaces, fintech, SaaS monetization, or contracting products.
• Experience at competitors or adjacent products in the partnership and monetization domain.
