Forward Deployed Product Lead (AI)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global headquarters in Reston, Virginia, United States; travel up to 10%. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for Public Trust are required.

Compensation: $150,000–$175,000 per year.

What you will do

• Work with client stakeholders to translate mission needs into product goals, priorities, and roadmaps.
• Own the product backlog, make trade-off decisions, and lead agile ceremonies, including scrum master responsibilities when needed.
• Build production-quality prototypes across frontend applications, APIs, data systems, and cloud platforms.
• Use AI coding tools, LLM assistants, and AI APIs to write, test, and review maintainable, secure code.
• Collaborate with engineers on solution design, integration, and releases for client production environments.
• Present demos and recommendations to client leaders, gather user feedback, and improve products based on results.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Hands-on software development experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#, plus familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, and modern web frameworks.
• Hands-on experience using modern AI tools, including LLM assistants, AI coding tools, and AI APIs.
• Strong client-facing, presentation, agile delivery, scrum, and backlog management skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Reston, Virginia and travel up to 10%.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for Public Trust are required. A related bachelor's degree is required.

• Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM, CSPO, or SAFe.
• Cloud certifications including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled solutions, working in federal or regulated environments, or embedding with client teams.
• Experience taking products from idea to launch.
