TL;DR
EHS Business Partner (EHS Management and Site Security): Developing and maintaining EHS and Site Security Management Systems across five UK and Ireland sites with an accent on regulatory compliance, risk management, training, and continuous improvement. Focus on influencing senior stakeholders, investigating incidents, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining consistent standards across R&D, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and commercial environments.
Location: Primarily onsite in Nottingham, United Kingdom, five days per week, with regular travel to Huntingdon and approximately 2–3 visits per year to Ireland. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Nottingham or be willing to relocate.

What you will do
- Develop, implement, manage, and maintain EHS and Site Security Management Systems across five UK and Ireland sites.
- Ensure compliance with UK and Ireland statutory, regulatory, contractual, and company EHS requirements.
- Identify risks, implement controls, monitor effectiveness, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and coordinate EHS training programs for employees across R&D, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and commercial environments.
- Support incident investigations, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Advise senior stakeholders and site leaders while coordinating consistent EHS standards across multiple locations.
Requirements
- Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS systems in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK EHS legislation and regulatory requirements.
- NEBOSH Level 6 National Diploma, NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate, NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication, influencing, problem-solving, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently in a standalone individual contributor role while collaborating across sites and functions.
- Willingness to work fully onsite five days per week, travel regularly to Huntingdon, and travel periodically to Ireland.
