What you will do

• Develop and implement a Group-wide health and safety strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead the Integrated Management System and maintain ISO-aligned standards across Outdoor, Workspace, and Events & Broadcast.
• Oversee H&S governance, policies, regulatory compliance, audits, inspections, and certifications including ISO 45001.
• Establish enterprise-wide risk assessment frameworks and lead incident investigation, corrective actions, crisis management, and emergency preparedness.
• Provide leadership to the H&S team, conduct site visits, oversee budgets, and ensure consistent standards across business units and geographies.
• Prepare Board-level performance reports and drive behavioural safety, leadership training, and employee engagement.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of UK safety regulations, including CDM, fire safety, and crowd control.
• 10+ years of experience in health and safety roles.
• NEBOSH or equivalent Level 6 qualification; CMIOSH or equivalent professional membership is preferred.
• Experience embedding ISO 45001 or similar management systems across complex organisations.
• Experience leading multi-site, multi-divisional, or international H&S functions and reporting to Boards or senior stakeholders.
• Experience in crisis management, incident response, stakeholder influence, and safety culture development.

Nice to have

• Certifications related to construction, events, hazardous operations, or other sector-specific risks.
• Experience coordinating international Outdoor operations.
