Computer Systems Administrator (DoD Networks)

Location: On-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado; standard working hours, 40 hours per week, with minimal travel of 0–20%.

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 annually; range applies to Colorado.

What you will do

• Provide technical support for communications equipment, peripherals, networks, software, and government-issued mobile phones.
• Provision computer accounts and configure or modify user access to classified internet and email systems.
• Support NIPRNet and SIPRNET accounts and related systems across STARCOM headquarters locations.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, configuration issues, error messages, browser compatibility, shared-drive mapping, and other user problems.
• Open and resolve trouble tickets within PWS-specified timelines while providing technical guidance to users and senior leaders.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance required; eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens.
• Security+ certification.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting DoD networks and working with Comm Focal Points.
• Knowledge of USAF and U.S. Space Force IT policies and procedures.
• Experience providing technical guidance, troubleshooting systems, and working independently in a high-tempo environment.
• Ability to work in a secure, confined location such as a SCIF.

Nice to have

• BA or BS degree.
• Headquarters, Combatant Command, or MAJCOM/Field Command experience.
