Location: Onsite in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

Base salary: $82,300–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Support and maintain classified IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, switches, routers, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and encryption devices.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, patch, deploy, and manage the lifecycle of hardware and software systems.
• Maintain standard operating procedures, network drawings, configuration records, and other technical documentation.
• Conduct technical inspections, identify security weaknesses, and support security compliance and system accreditation.
• Provide Tier II technical support, resolve moderately complex user issues, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Coordinate with Information Assurance, senior personnel, and IT management on operational risks and system requirements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in systems administration or networking administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Security+ certification or a higher professional certification.
• Experience with Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016/2019.
• Knowledge of systems administration, networking, LDAP, Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, Veeam, Nessus, or Splunk.
• Current Secret security clearance is required, and selected applicants must obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Information Technology.
• Knowledge of JAFAN 6/9, NISPOM, JSIG, CNSSI 1253, NIST, RMF, or ICD 503.
• Ability to provide guidance to junior team members.
