Product Applications Field Foreman (Solar)

Location: Fremont, California, USA; requires extensive domestic and international travel to utility-scale solar project sites.

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Lead and supervise construction crews on utility-scale solar projects.
• Direct daily work activities, assign tasks, and manage field operations when the Construction Manager is unavailable.
• Coordinate with Construction Managers, Field Engineers, subcontractors, inspectors, and site personnel.
• Monitor productivity, quality, attendance, materials, equipment, schedules, and project risks.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, hazard assessments, inspections, and quality corrections.
• Support solar product testing, punch-list work, rework, closeout, and demobilization.

Requirements

• Experience as a Field Foreman, Crew Leader, Supervisor, or Lead Installer in utility-scale solar construction.
• Knowledge of solar construction methods, installation sequencing, construction safety, and hazard controls.
• Ability to lead crews, make field decisions, read construction drawings, and solve site problems.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including internationally and overseas.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors on active construction sites.
• Ability to communicate clearly, organize field activities, and coordinate with project stakeholders.

• OSHA, First Aid/CPR, competent-person, or other construction certifications.
