Field Engineer (Renewable Energy)

Location: United States; field-based project assignments nationwide with willingness to travel required

Salary: $70,500–$103,175 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Support daily construction operations and execute short-interval planning to keep projects safe, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards.
• Coordinate with trade superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, clients, landowners, utilities, and internal teams.
• Track production quantities, equipment usage, job costs, forecasts, subcontractor progress, pay applications, and change documentation.
• Support QA/QC inspections, engineering reviews, RFIs, as-builts, job books, and project quality plans.
• Assist with environmental compliance, including SWPPP, erosion control, and permit requirements.
• Build field leadership skills through onboarding, mentorship, and collaboration with superintendents, project construction coordinators, and site managers.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Interest in renewable energy or large-scale construction projects.
• Willingness to travel and work on project-based assignments typically lasting 6–18 months.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced field environment.
• Team-first approach with a commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
• Must hold valid, independent U.S. work authorization; H-1B visa and permanent residency sponsorship are not available.
