Location: United States; remote work is available within the contiguous United States for employees living beyond a 30-mile radius of a physical NuScale office. Employees within that radius must work in-office 4 days per week. Occasional national and local travel may be required.
Salary: $99,175–$119,694 annually; full pay range $88,915–$139,073 annually.

What you will do
- Manage procurement and contract activities throughout the lifecycle of engineering, design, fabrication, testing, manufacturing, and construction contracts.
- Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute NDAs, subcontracts, consulting agreements, licensing agreements, master services agreements, task orders, and purchase orders.
- Act as the primary contractual liaison between internal teams and suppliers, resolving deviations and coordinating approvals.
- Prepare and manage RFP, RFI, and RFQ processes, including bidder prequalification, bid analysis, and supplier coordination.
- Maintain contract records, correspondence, changes, status reports, extensions, renewals, and closeouts.
- Coordinate contract reviews with legal, finance, project managers, operational teams, and suppliers to reduce risk and clarify requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of full-time experience in nuclear contract management within the nuclear industry.
- Eligibility to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810 is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to understand and apply quality assurance regulations and standards, including 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
- Ability to travel nationally and locally and perform required office-based physical activities.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree.
- Certified Purchasing Manager certification.
- Up to four additional years of directly applicable experience in lieu of a degree.
