IT Procurement Specialist (Nuclear)

Location: Los Angeles, California; 100% onsite and in person every day

Salary: $95,000–$135,000 annually

hirify.global is developing uranium enrichment services in the United States to restore domestic nuclear fuel production and support advanced energy and industrial applications.

What you will do

• Own procurement of computers, servers, storage, networking equipment, software, and IT services from sourcing through purchase orders, delivery, and invoice reconciliation.
• Partner with IT, Information Security, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain to validate specifications, forecast demand, and secure long-lead equipment.
• Build supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, delivery commitments, licensing, warranties, and support terms.
• Coordinate security and legal reviews, approved sourcing, equipment provenance checks, and protection of sensitive information.
• Track orders, expedite shipments, resolve receiving discrepancies, and maintain accurate purchasing, serial-number, and warranty records.
• Manage software and support renewals, license entitlements, spending, and scalable purchasing workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT procurement, technical purchasing, or technology vendor management.
• Working knowledge of enterprise IT equipment, software licensing, support contracts, and technical bills of materials.
• Experience negotiating commercial terms, managing suppliers, and resolving delivery or purchasing issues independently.
• Experience with purchasing or ERP systems and spreadsheets for purchase orders, spending, delivery schedules, and renewals.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and judgment when handling sensitive information.
• Must be a current US citizen, able to obtain and maintain a US Q clearance, and able to work onsite in Los Angeles every day.

Nice to have

• Procurement experience in aerospace, defense, nuclear, or other security-sensitive engineering environments.
• Experience with classified or export-controlled programs, supplier qualification, supply-chain traceability, or controlled receiving.
• Familiarity with software licensing, offline activation, and vendor-support restrictions in isolated or air-gapped environments.
• Experience purchasing data-center infrastructure and negotiating with enterprise hardware manufacturers, software publishers, and value-added resellers.
• Experience building scalable purchasing processes at a fast-growing company or supporting deployments across multiple facilities.
