Infrastructure Engineer (Nutanix)

What you will do

• Oversee and support virtualisation, storage, and backup systems.
• Deploy and manage Nutanix HCI clusters, including AOS, AHV, and Prism Central/Element.
• Perform upgrades, patching, migrations, firmware updates, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor vulnerabilities and take proactive measures to minimise incidents.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, networking, and virtualisation layers.
• Act as an escalation point for critical production incidents and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience across virtualisation, backup, and storage.
• Experience working in mid- to large-scale enterprise environments with thousands of servers.
• Strong knowledge of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure.
• Good general infrastructure and networking knowledge.
• Experience automating tasks with PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and continuous-improvement skills.
