What you will do
- Own, configure, and improve network monitoring and observability platforms.
- Develop dashboards, reporting solutions, operational metrics, and self-service capabilities.
- Design and maintain Python-based automation, scripts, applications, API integrations, and automation frameworks.
- Operate network compliance tooling, validate configurations, investigate configuration drift, and support remediation.
- Improve service reliability and operational efficiency by removing manual processes and introducing valuable engineering approaches.
- Collaborate with network engineering, security, operations, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on tooling strategies and roadmaps.
Requirements
- Experience deploying, managing, and enhancing enterprise monitoring platforms such as IP Fabric, SolarWinds, or LogicMonitor.
- Strong scripting and automation experience with practical Python development skills.
- Experience with Visual Studio Code, APIs, version control, Git, secure credential storage, and software development best practices.
- Experience with network compliance or governance platforms such as Skybox, AlgoSec, or Tufin.
- Understanding of configuration compliance, security best practices, configuration drift, and policy violations.
- Working knowledge of routing and switching, OSPF, BGP, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, proxies, and remote access technologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with DDI platforms, particularly BlueCat.
- Understanding of DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management.
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise networks.
- Experience using AI tooling to accelerate engineering activities and improve operational outcomes.
