What you will do

• Build, configure, and maintain server infrastructure and storage solutions across retail operations and head office.
• Perform security remediation, including system patching, vulnerability identification, and network strengthening.
• Help build and maintain virtualization platforms and cloud-based environments.
• Follow Information Security direction to improve the safety and reliability of data science and server infrastructure.
• Use and update technical documentation while collaborating with Infrastructure, Information Security, and Senior Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Currently studying toward a STEM degree with a 12-month placement or a STEM Master’s degree, ideally in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Expected academic performance of 2:1 or higher for degree students.
• Strong attention to detail and a systematic, logical approach to complex problems.
• Curiosity about how systems work and how they can fail.
• Clear professional communication with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Self-motivation, ambition, and willingness to learn collaboratively.
