Infrastructure Engineer (Web3)

Location: Hybrid in London or Singapore

What you will do

• Maintain, optimize, and scale physical and virtual server and network infrastructure.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco switches and core TCP/IP networks.
• Diagnose network performance issues, packet loss, latency, hardware failures, and infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Develop and deploy Python automation for network administration, Cisco provisioning, and infrastructure operations.
• Monitor and tune infrastructure performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and SNMP.
• Support mission-critical production systems during deployments, incidents, maintenance windows, and out-of-business-hours periods.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in systems administration, network infrastructure engineering, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of data centre connectivity, structured cabling, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, and subnetting.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst or Nexus switches.
• Practical knowledge of Linux server operating systems, server hardware, network appliances, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with Wireshark, tcpdump, traceroute, Git, and infrastructure monitoring or performance-tuning tools.
• Willingness to work weekend and evening shifts and provide out-of-business-hours support when required.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise firewalls and access control lists.
• Familiarity with BGP, OSPF, or static routing.
• Experience with automated Linux server deployment and Python scripting.
