2nd Warehouse Associate Team Lead

Location: Hodges, South Carolina, United States; onsite, second shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Salary: $20.75–$26.42 per hour

What you will do

• Assist the Section Manager by leading team members, coordinating workflow, delegating priorities, and overseeing daily warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with logistics teams, customers, and external carriers to arrange expedited shipments and improve processes.
• Lead multifunctional meetings, track performance, and drive Safety, Quality, Velocity, and Cost results.
• Manage warehouse zones, aged inventory, reconciliations, quality metrics, and root-cause investigations.
• Lead problem-solving and continuous-improvement events, including investigations of customer-reported defects.
• Support material handling and warehousing activities, including occasional use of reach trucks, forklifts, overhead cranes, and other heavy equipment.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to maintain accurate and complete records.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Good attendance, independent work capability, and willingness to work overtime when required.
• Ability to follow PPE and safety requirements, lift parts up to 35 pounds individually or 70 pounds as a team lift, and perform bending, reaching, squatting, standing, and sitting tasks.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or logistics operation.
• Demonstrated Lean Manufacturing experience.
