What you will do
- Coordinate receiving of inbound trucks carrying materials, display components, pallets, and packaging supplies.
- Verify shipments, investigate discrepancies, record materials in the WMS, and ensure accurate storage and put-away.
- Coordinate material staging, inventory transfers, and availability to support production schedules and customer orders.
- Lead cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Lead, assign, coach, and develop warehouse, inventory control, clamp truck, and high-reach operator associates.
- Monitor KPIs and promote safe operations, 5S organization, SOP compliance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in distribution center, warehouse, logistics, or inventory operations, including at least 2 years in a lead or team coordination role.
- Experience with receiving, inventory control, material handling, shipping operations, and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Experience operating or coordinating Powered Industrial Vehicles, including clamp trucks and high-reach forklifts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, with strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, lift and move materials, obtain required PIV certification, and collaborate across departments.
