Principal Network Engineer III

Location: Pocatello, Idaho, United States; on-site

Salary: $114,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Monitor and measure activity and performance across a commercial telecom/IP network.
• Collect, interpret, and report network and customer performance data for billing, marketing, and product innovation.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of network protocols, equipment, capabilities, and vulnerabilities.
• Develop applications and programs in C, C++, and Java.
• Create programs and scripts using Perl, Awk, and Sed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least six years of experience, with relevant work experience substituting for education where applicable.
• TS/SCI eligibility is required to start the job.
• Cisco CCNA certification is required within six months of starting.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, SNMP, ATM, frame relay, HPOV, Netcool, Nerve Center, CGI, HTML, ASP, Solaris, and Windows NT.
