Engineering Manager (DeFi)

Location: Remote, European or Eastern European time zones

Salary: USD 150,000–250,000 base plus performance bonus

hirify.global is hiring for a fast-growing DeFi financial services firm developing protocol integrations and internal financial products.

What you will do

• Own delivery across an external DeFi protocol integration and the internal product roadmap.
• Lead planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives for a distributed 17-person team.
• Coordinate engineers, quants, analysts, and external technical partners.
• Write and implement engineering standard operating procedures, including preparation for initial SOC 2 attainment.
• Coach team members and support feedback and career development.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience with a strong engineering foundation and progression into leadership.
• Experience combining people management, agile delivery, and direct collaboration with external partners.
• Technical depth in backend systems, financial infrastructure, or complex integrations.
• Experience scaling teams from 10–15 to more than 30 people.
• Availability to work remotely within European or Eastern European time zones.
• B2B engagement.

Nice to have

• Experience with SOC 2 attainment.
• Financial services or fintech experience.
• Interest in crypto.
