Manufacturing Engineer (Lean Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Improve manufacturing efficiency and support continuous improvement using Lean principles.
• Analyze workforce utilization, space requirements, workflows, and equipment layouts.
• Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs for management decisions.
• Coordinate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, vendors, equipment, materials, and parts.
• Project-manage technical upgrades, equipment installation, tooling design, and implementation.
• Evaluate product quality, collect manufacturing data, and complete health and safety reviews for new or altered equipment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
• Technical expertise in sheet metal fabrication and experience with repetitive and build-to-suit manufacturing methods.
• Experience managing large and complex projects with industry tools.
• Strong communication, organization, management, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
