Technical Program Manager (Contractor)

Location: New York City, US

Base salary: $130k–$150k annually, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Manage the complete lifecycle of web development and content projects from intake and scoping through delivery.
• Implement and optimize Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall processes across different projects and workflows.
• Administer and configure Jira and ClickUp, including workflows, dashboards, and user enablement.
• Coordinate developers, designers, content creators, marketing stakeholders, and the Senior Web Strategist.
• Manage the web roadmap, facilitate prioritization, allocate resources, and lead agile ceremonies.
• Use project and team data to report on velocity, operational efficiency, and process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in program or technical project management, especially with complex web projects.
• Expert knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong understanding of technical and creative requirements across the web project lifecycle.
• Expert proficiency with Jira and ClickUp, including workflow configuration, dashboard creation, and user training.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and process optimization skills.
