Program Manager (Telecom)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; travel required up to 10%, including occasional overnight and out-of-state trips.

Salary: $142,000–$165,000 annually plus a 5% bonus.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end strategic programs spanning multiple related projects, business units, and technical workstreams.
• Build integrated plans covering schedules, milestones, dependencies, resources, capacity, and competing priorities.
• Oversee product lifecycle execution, Stage Gate approvals, deployment, integration, operational readiness, and adoption.
• Manage program budgets, forecasts, CapEx/OpEx financials, risks, issues, escalations, and program-level changes.
• Coordinate engineering, architecture, IT, product, business, vendor, and project teams while influencing without direct authority.
• Track KPIs and performance metrics, report program health to senior leadership, and improve PMO methods, tools, and governance.

Requirements

• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 8 years of program management, project management, or technical delivery experience, with a focus on technology and product development.
• At least 3 years of recent program management experience in telecommunications, including mobile, IoT devices, or telephony services.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies and tools, Stage Gate governance, program financials, resource planning, and performance metrics.
• Experience with telecom transformation, infrastructure programs, cloud migrations, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business administration or project management.
• Experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst.
• Experience in telecommunications or compliance-driven environments.
• Active PMP or PgMP certification and Agile training or certification.
